The historic Kennicott copper mine, located deep in the heart of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, is a favorite subject for Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge. Artist Niebrugge painted “Frozen Copper” before the national park began stabilization of these historic buildings. The most recent print “Kennicott;Stabilized” shows the structures in better condition, is also offered as a mini print.
