I love the days that our ship is at sea, on this trip we will have a total of nine days. Most days are calm and sunny with many hours spent by the pool reading, or playing games with the other passengers, or watching first run movies and excellent lectures. But our last day we encountered heavy rough seas and force 9 gales. The ship used all of its stabilizers and reduced the motion by 80%, quite amazing. Everything continued as usual except the floor shows were cancelled where dancers risked twisting an ankle, and the swimming pools were closed
