Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge and husband Bob ended the Christmas 2012 cruise in Ft. Lauderdale. Florida. Disembarking the Coral Princess the couple spent the day exploring the Everglades with the assistance of a personal chauffeur and guide. A one hour air boat tour through the Everglades revealed many tropical birds and snakes, and the ever present alligators. After the boat tour one of the members of the Animal Planet Television Show “Gator Boys” demonstrated methods of handling these huge alligators. Too soon the day was over and the next morning the Niebrugges boarded an Alaska Airlines Jet for a smooth trip through 4 time zones back to winter in Alaska. The two week trip of sunshine gave a nice break from the Alaska darkness and the couple arrived home just in time to bring in 2013 with friends and neighbors.
