Even as a small child, Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge has had a fascination for antique automobiles. They have been the subject of many drawings and paintings throughout her career. Traveling back to Escondido, CA. from a trip north, the Niebrugges had the privilege to visit the extensive, restored prize winning vehicles of the Nethercutt Collection. It boggles the mind. Such beautifully finished, carefully maintained antiques. Priceless.
Bob and Arlene Shuster, the Niebrugge traveling companions, had time to cut a rug dancing to the music from the antique player in the middle of the automobile display room while Bob Niebrugge watched. This is indeed a treat and a must see if you are in the area!
