We’ve done 4 wheel drive trips into the wilderness most of our lives, in the early years we drove our own 4 wheel drive International Scout down the Baja Peninsula and traveled all over the Southern California Deserts. We fit right into the wilderness of Alaska when we moved there 35 years ago, and wore out more than one vehicle exploring. But, nothing compares to the Broken Arrow Trail used by the Pink Jeep Tours in Sedona, Arizona. Like the brochure states; “You gotta do it!” This experience is is the highlight of our trip so far. We had awesome views from Submarine Rock and Chicken Point, and held our breath during the descent down the “Road of no Return” shown above. I can’t wait to start paintings of the gorgeous red rocks.

Your Pink Jeep trip in Sedona brought back fond memories. We did the trip many years ago. I agree that it is a must. The stunning beauty of the rocks is breathtaking. Sounds like you are having fun.
We are LeEllen…from the Hawaiian tropics to the Arizona desert, the best of the best.
That does look like fun, Gail! I didn’t realize you did the driving yourself on the Pink Jeep trip. Would love to be with you on that one!
Noella, no we didn’t drive the Pink Jeep, but we used to drive our own 4WheelDrive.
