“Fiery Leaves” acrylic 23.5″ x 35.5″ on Sintra panel, original painting SOLD.
We are back to the studio after a nice week-long break for the Christmas holidays. Collectors are welcome to schedule studio visit/tours, just call for an appointment. Guests are always welcome.
I’m posting the image of “Fiery Leaves” because we’ve had a number of customers that want a print. This painting depicts the final stage of the wildflower fireweed as it appears in Alaska during early September. At this time we are evaluating the size and substrate printing options. Should we publish it as a small size only, or maybe offer a small size and a larger size? If we offer a larger size should we print it on canvas or on paper? How large is large? There are many options to consider and we appreciate as much feedback as possible. When and if we do offer “Fiery Leaves” as a print it will be posted on our website and website blog.

Uh oh…I will write again tomorrow. It was 40 deg. C. (104 deg.F) today and now nearly 1.00 am – must get some shut-eye.
It is hard to imagine 104 degrees right now, but it is summer down under and winter in Alaska. Gail
YES!!! Fiery Leaves!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT.
This will be my next Niebrugge purchase for sure. You have made me a happy woman.
I vote for both small and large just because some may not be able to buy a large print but love it and can still get a smaller one. Me personally, I want a large print. As for ‘how large’? Well, no bigger than my birch trees, I don’t think. Even a bit smaller and I could actually put it in my entry way where I wanted the trees, but it is too big.
As for printing medium….well, I’ll take anything just because I love it so I’m not the picky one with that. I’m guessing you have to gauge what would appeal to the widest range of customers. I’m off and running doing the happy dance. LOL
Laurie,
You are the best. We will consider your comments and proceed accordingly.
Hugs, Gail
