Our booth on a beautiful sunny day before the crowds arrive. After two gorgeous days the rains came down in earnest but it doesn’t seem to bother fair goers, they arrive in their fishermans rain gear, rubber knee boots, and plod through the puddles with smiles on their faces while eating cotton candy. The tourists suffer the most because their lovely cruise sport clothes don’t quite do the trick in an Alaska summer rain. One moment the sun is shining, the next it’s a downpour. Someone once said; “If you don’t like the weather right now, just wait a few moments.” We’ve been busy in our booth this year and have enjoyed seeing so many old friends, and making some new ones. The fair closes September 4, so come on down while we are here! See you soon.
