March Snow in Arizona

Here is our friend Cookie Hales standing on Main Street in Jerome, Arizona, wearing a pair of shorts in a blizzard.  I’m taking the photo wearing shorts as well.  It was freezing up there at 5,000 ft. elevation.  We enjoyed staying at the former hospital, the Jerome Grand Hotel, that is said to be haunted by ghosts.

We stopped for wine tasting in the old town of Cottonwood, and enjoyed the fabulous big antique bar.  Seated left to right are Cookie Hales, Bob, me, and Ned Hales.  Next it is on to baseball spring training in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Loved Jerome and our lunch there. That was September last year, and it was extremely hot!

Did you hear any strange sounds or have any ghostly experiences at night? (grin)

    Enjoying hearing of your travels!

  2. No we didn’t, but our friends heard furniture moving upstairs in the night, and upstairs was unoccupied…
