Artist Gail Niebrugge incorporated this design using Wild Iris, the wildflower Fireweed, and Alaska’s state flower Forget-me-not, into a large outdoor mural “Wildflowers”, 32 long by 8 high, located in Kawabe Park downtown Seward, Alaska. More of her wildflower paintings can be seen in her book Gail Niebrugge’s Alaska Wildflowers.
