Photo Research by Kayak

Since my theme right now is boats, I thought I’d include a photo of our latest research equipment. Bob and I both own one of these bright cherry red kayaks to use on the lake for quiet, easy access to shallow coves and shoreline where we can watch and photograph waterfowl feeding and nesting. The lake is usually calm in the early morning, a perfect time to explore and exercise.

Gail,
I stumbled on your blog the other day and have enjoyed reading it. Keep up the good work. I have started blogging recently and have enjoyed the process. My blog is http://dugsbigwildlife.blogspot.com/ Ed and I rafted the Kenai a few weeks ago, and it of course brought back many good memories of floating the Copper. That has to be one of the best assignments I have ever been on. Your post today on Kayaking is kind of reminicent of the rafting adventures. I look forward to you future posts. Talk to you soon.

Hey Dug;
Great to hear from you, thanks for the link on your blog I added you to my links page as well.
Life goes by so fast, that raft trip that we all took together is one of the highlights of my time in the Wrangell-St. Elias. So glad that you are back in Alaska.
Hope to see you soon!
