Here is another painting from my visit to the village of Atmautluak, Alaska, showing my eskimo buddies that shadowed my every move. I was fascinated that the houses sat in pools of water during break-up, and no one seemed to mind.

Thank you for pointing me to this posting. I had no idea what the title of the painting was and I have wondered for nigh on 20 years what village inspired your painting. I am very proud to own this painting - it’s one of my very favorites.
