I Can’t See Out The Windows!
House painters arrived early this morning and have sealed the windows of our house and my studio with opaque plastic wrap. Tape is everywhere. The guys said that it would take three hours to spray the house, and two more days to complete the trim. I guess I will be working inside this sealed box for three days. If the weather turns hot I think I might suffocate!
They have covered all my new perennials with tarps. I’m worried, how will they keep from being broken into bits? I hope these guys know what they are doing. We have been waiting for the painters since April, when the temperatures finally warmed up enough for paint to adhere.
First they had to paint all the houses located closer together in a big subdivision. We are just a single house out away from others. Then we had winds and they couldn’t paint. Finally it began to rain, and rain, and rain. Today we hope for no wind or rain. It will be nice to have this job finished.
Meanwhile, I can’t see out the windows.
