Excellent Fairbanks Art Show!

We always look forward to three days at the very well attended Fairbanks Holiday Marketplace at the Carlson Center. The event is festive, laden with wonderful gifts and collectables, and jammed with shoppers. We love catching up with our friends and collectors sharing news, showing new art prints and original paintings. It was a busy, busy show.
Normally frigid Fairbanks weather was kind this year, with sunny days and temperatures near zero. The bitter cold did not appear until Monday, the day after the show closed. The wind blew during our drive home and with temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees the chill factor was significant. We were thankful for our dependable vehicle and blessed without any flat tires. Life sometimes hangs in the balance during those low temperatures with car trouble.

Just a HI from cousin Dick & Cathy back in New York. Bob & Mary’s son, Mick and his wife Tiny are visiting us here in Canandaigua. I was showing Mike one of the post cards you had sent us along the way, so we decided to check out your website. They were really impressed with your work. How is Bob doing? Just wanted to let you know that we do think about you two and are looking forward to your Christmas message so we can catch up. I’ll be sending our’s out in the next couple of weeks. Take care .
