Dozers and Topsoil Monday
Everything is happening at once. After waiting six weeks for the excavator, without notice today the bulldozer, roller, and backhoe arrived and after twenty loads of pit run gravel we have a pad for the storage garage. Saturday the cement mason will put in the garage slab. And, Monday the landscaper promised he would be here with his small dozer and multiple loads of topsoil! I am so happy to see things finally happening in the yard.
Our building contractor said that the driveway will be paved next week and the house will be painted soon. My son-in-law promised to build our storage garage during the summer break from his job as a teacher. We are very grateful for his expertise and help. New construction is extremely expensive and a lot of work. I will be content when everything is finished.
Until then, we have a lot of action going on around here and that is good.
