Detail Pointillism Sunflower Top Left
A close-up detail showing pencil lines, underpainting, and first layer of dots on the upper left section of the sunflower original painting. 
Another layer of pointillism is applied to the upper left section of the Sunflower original painting.
The same section shows that the leaves have been fairly well defined at this stage and the petals of the Sunflower are still rough. I’m concentrating on mid-values, creating the shapes, like sculpting, and there will be absolutely no detail until the very end.
