Art Show at Art Shop Gallery
This morning I catch an early flight to Homer, Alaska, to participate in an art show featuring my fine art prints and giclee art prints. This is an annual event. I’ve been showing art in Homer for well over fifteen years and look forward to visiting the people, seeing the town and just being there.
Art Shop Gallery owner Karin Marks has become a good friend and takes very good care of her artists. She usually has a lovely meal after the show and invites friends and clients, sometimes we go out to dinner at one of the excellent local restaurants. Her gallery is located next door to one of my favorites eating places, Cafe Cups. It is in a funky little building with several giant tea cup sculptures mounted over the front door.
Homer is friendly, and very arty. It is definitely worth the visit. Hope to see some of you at the show today.
