Big Decision; Niebrugge’s are staying in Alaska!

This has been a year of ups and downs, uncertainty, and re-evaluation.  Bob’s health has improved hugely, and his vision has returned thanks to awesome surgeons and prayer.  We love our home in Alaska, and have made the decision to take it off the market and not sell.  Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in our lives.  For now we will take one day at a time, enjoy our home, get back to painting and producing art.   I think all of our friends showing up at the Open House last month helped make this decision.  We are very blessed with good friends, loyal collectors, and support.  I’ll keep you posted as to our plans for the winter, Bob still wants to go somewhere warm and sunny, but until then…….God’s blessings for each and every one of you.  By the way, our garden will be featured in the Valley Garden Club Garden Tour July 24th, and at the moment I’m a weeding dervish.

Hi my dear friends, So glad to hear you are staying in Alaska and that Bob is doing so much better. Your home on the lake is so beautiful who would ever want to leave. You can come visit us anytime in Az. It was so much fun with you all this winter. Wayne is coming in on the 23rd to help with the Old Timers party. . I am glad your garden is doing well, mine looks sick, so much cold and rain. Hopefully my flowers will show off for the party. Love, D
